Nike Magista: The revolution of soccer cleats

With a revolutionary concept, Nike introduced last month its newest soccer boot, the Magista. The boot includes a radical new design with numerous enhancements, which the company expects to revolutionize the athletic footwear industry in the world of soccer.

The boot contains a technology known as Flyknit, from Nike. A technique for assembling a shoe's upper by knitting, resulting in running shoes that are lightweight (5.6 oz) made with less waste, as comfortable as socks, yet still offering the same support as any other soccer cleats. The neck of the boot adjusts to the ankle, allowing the player and its shoes to become one in the game.  

After four years of research and development in Nike's Laboratories, the company decided to launch a design that will help players with their creativity and speed in the game. Nike thought it was time to listen to the needs of their most especial customers, the players. And so they decided to contact some of the best attacking playmakers in the world, like Andres Iniesta from Barcelona and german attacking midfielder Mario Gotze, to listen to what they had to say. 

The same as all the other cleats of high quality that Nike designs, the shoe also incorporates a technology known as ACC (All Conditions Control) that allows the players to have a constant control of the ball when expose to all types of weather. No matter what the playing conditions are, the frame of the shoe makes it waterproof and resistant to any type of weather conditions.

The sole of the shoe incorporates a plate made of Pebax nylon with cone shaped cleats that are strategically designed to allow a 360 degree rotation. 

Player's reactions to the boot have been nothing short of fantastic for Nike. Thiago Silva of Paris Saint-Germain called Magista "fantastic" and Arda Turan of Atletico Madrid called it "futuristic". Again, Nike has revolutionize the soccer market with their newest invention, the Magista, by changing the way players adapt to the game.
